New Year's Events on South Padre Island

Ring in the New Year with a spectacular fireworks display over the bay! This event is presented by Visit South Padre Island and offers a fantastic way to celebrate the arrival of the new year with family and friends.

Ring in the new year at the biggest beach bar in Texas! Clayton's Beach Bar & Grill will be launching their fireworks display at 9:15 p.m., providing an incredible way to celebrate the arrival of the new year with a beachfront fireworks show.

Mark your calendars! Longboard’s annual New Year’s Eve Party features a buffet, champagne, fireworks, and party favors! The party you don’t want to miss!!! Reservations required!

Join The Quarterdeck Lounge for a special New Year's Eve celebration on Sunday, December 31, 2023, from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Enjoy entertainment by DJ Roux from 9 pm to 1 am. Feast on chef specials including a carving station with Prime Rib, Carved Slow Roasted Leg of Lamb, and Carved Honey Glazed Ham, along with a Pasta Bar, Sushi Bar, and various delicious dishes.

Dessert includes Molten Chocolate Lava Cake, and each couple receives a bottle of sparkling wine or two glasses for individuals. The price is $109 per person or $180 per couple (plus gratuity & tax). Guests must be 13 years of age or older.

Join the celebration on New Year's Eve at the Isla Grand Beach Resort's Quarterdeck Lounge. Enjoy a night of music with the Dynamic Dance Band Area Code, party favors, a midnight champagne toast, and chances to win prizes. The party starts at 8:00 PM, and the band begins performing at 9:00 PM. Tickets are $40.00 per person or $70.00 per couple, and advance pre-paid reservations are required. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Special room rates starting at $119.00 for cabanas and $249.00 for condos are available for party ticket holders.

Ring in the New Year at the New Year's Masquerade event, which benefits Fishing's Future, a charitable cause. The evening will be filled with enchantment, featuring live music by Jenuine Cello, a captivating live painting performance, refreshments, a raffle, and a Christie's Style Art Auction.

Dress to impress in cocktail or formal attire, and contribute to a meaningful evening. The proceeds from this event support the mission of Fishing’s Future.

Dive into the New Year at Clayton’s Annual Polar Bear Dip! Registration starts at 10:00 AM, and the dip takes place at 12 noon. You can purchase Polar Bear Dip T-shirts and hats, with all proceeds benefiting Friends of Animal Rescue.

Enjoy live music all day featuring Rob Gracia from 10 AM to 1 PM and Rockstar Denied from 2 PM to 6 PM. There will also be a happy hour for food and drinks from 12 PM to 5 PM.
